Ordering
How does Bringly work?
Enter your postcode to see the local stores near you. Choose a store, add items to your basket and check out. The store prepares your order and either delivers it to your door with its own driver, or has it ready for you to collect, depending on what you chose. Each order is from one store.
What is click & collect?
Instead of delivery, you collect your order from the store once it’s ready. There is no delivery fee. Some stores only offer click & collect, and these are clearly marked wherever you see them in the app.
How much does it cost?
Your total is made up of three lines you can see before you pay: your groceries, the store’s delivery fee (none for click & collect), and Bringly’s 99p service charge. Each store sets its own delivery fee, and some offer free delivery over a certain order value.
Where does Bringly deliver?
We’re launching in selected UK areas first. Enter your postcode in the app to see which stores are near you and whether they deliver or offer click & collect.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as possible with your order reference. We can usually cancel an order before the store has started preparing it. Once it is on its way or ready to collect, we can’t cancel it. See our terms for the details.
During your order
What happens if an item is out of stock?
Stores do their best to supply what you ordered. If an item has run out, the store may replace it with a similar product. If the replacement is cheaper, you only pay the lower price. If it’s dearer, you still pay the original price. Any substitution is shown on your receipt.
When is my card charged?
When you place your order we reserve the total on your card. We take the payment once the store has packed your order, for the final amount. If anything in your order changed, such as a cheaper substitute, you are charged the lower amount.
How do I know where my order is?
The app shows your order’s progress, from confirmed and being prepared to out for delivery (or ready to collect) and delivered.
Problems & refunds
I received an incorrect item
When your order arrives, check it against your receipt. If an item is incorrect, tell the driver straight away and report it in the app, within one hour of your order being marked as delivered. For click & collect, check your order before you leave the store. We can then refund the incorrect item.
I want to return a substitute I don’t want
Check substitutions against your receipt when your order arrives. If you don’t accept a substitute, tell the driver straight away and report it in the app, and hand the item back so it can be refunded.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used. Most banks show them within 5 to 10 working days of us issuing the refund.
My store didn’t respond to a problem
The store that sold your order is your first point of contact. If you’ve reported a problem and the store hasn’t put it right, email us with your order reference and we will look into it, and can refund you where our terms say so.
Is paying with Bringly secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by our payment provider, a regulated payments provider. Your card details go straight to our payment provider, and Bringly never sees or stores your full card number.
Your account
I’ve forgotten my password
Email us from the address on your account and we’ll help you get back in. If you’re signed in, you can change your password from the Account section of the app or website.
How do I delete my account?
See Delete your account for how to ask us to delete your account and what we have to keep by law.
How do you use my personal data?
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights.
Stores & drivers
I deliver for a store. How do I get into the Driver app?
Your store arranges your Bringly Driver account and links you to the store. Sign in with the details they give you. If you have trouble signing in, email us from the address on your account.
Who pays drivers?
Drivers work for the stores they deliver for, and their pay comes from the store. Bringly doesn’t pay or employ drivers.
